Derbyshire is a large, well connected, mixed rural-urban county in the heart of England. The M1 runs through the county and an HS2 station is planned for Chesterfield.
The county is bordered by the cities of Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester and Manchester and surrounds the city of Derby.
Our key business objectives are to:
- Generate "profit with a purpose" because we re-invest in Derbyshire's council services.
- Purchase land identified as surplus to requirement from Derbyshire County Council and other public sector bodies.
- Create employment opportunities within Derbyshire, including for apprentices and Derbyshire care leavers.
- Maintain ethical and environmental standards in specification, development and construction of properties.
We currently have two development opportunities available. We have recently identified a further ten sites for development and there are around 100 more council sites registered as surplus to requirement.
