Sarah Morris


A member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Sarah has over 25 years' experience of private and public practice, including delivering housing, retail, office and industrial units.

Sarah's background includes working with architectural practices in Manchester and London on a variety of projects. As well as running her own her own small practice, Sarah also spent three years working as a consultant to an American engineering company on the development of airports in Russia.

Sarah worked for Pembrokeshire County Council for ten years as an architect responsible for delivering the council's capital programme which included schools, care homes and a new multi-million pound council office.

In 2007 Sarah joined Derbyshire County Council as Head of Design managing the in-house architecture team. Sarah is now Assistant Director for the corporate property team and is responsible for all the council's buildings.

A member of the Royal Institute of Architects, Sarah completed her MBA in 2013.
